NOMINATING COMMITTEE
At the heart of the Presbyterian way - is the belief that the people of God are called to be leaders. This commitment manifests itself in a style of "representative democracy" that is unique in the worldwide church. Leaders of the church are chosen by the congregation. The process is three-fold: (1) the congregation submits names to the nominating committee; (2) discerning God's will, the nominating committee compiles a slate of officers, liaison persons and nominating committee members; (3) the slate is presented to the congregation for action in late November.

Elders form a group called the Session. Deacons
Deacons hold responsibility for an active ministry of service and compassion to the members and friends of the congregation. They are involved in visitation, concrete acts of shepherding, hospitality, comfort and joy.
