The Valley Music Series is proud to present acclaimed performers Jessica Ann Best and Alan Jones in a concert celebrating the timeless melodies of the Great American Songbook on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Valley Presbyterian Church in Brookfield. This performance is the third concert in the Valley Music Series’ 2025/26 season and promises a memorable afternoon of beloved classics.
The program features iconic songs by legendary composers such as Irving Berlin, Harry Warren, and Hoagy Carmichael, along with a surprise encore at the conclusion of the concert. Known for their charisma, musical versatility, and expressive artistry, Best and Jones bring fresh, heartfelt interpretations to these enduring favorites through powerful voice and piano performances.
Jessica Ann Best is a versatile, cross-disciplinary artist whose career spans opera, musical theater, and jazz. She most recently appeared as the alto soloist in Handel’s Messiah with Maestro Knapp in 2023. Best has toured extensively throughout the United States and abroad, including a 2023 tour to Poland where she performed and directed opera in Rzeszów and Kraków. She is the founder and Artist and Executive Director of Serenade LLC, and holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music from Nazareth College.

Alan Jones is an accomplished vocalist, pianist, and guitarist with a diverse musical background. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in theory/composition and voice performance from Capital University Conservatory of Music, and a Master’s in Music Education from the Eastman School of Music. Jones is the recipient of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra’s Choral Director of the Year Award and performs regularly with Michael Lasser’s Fascinatin’ Rhythm road productions. He has performed nationwide with Ms. Best in venues ranging from universities to arts centers.
