Welcome Brunches

We practice loving God with wholeheartedness and constancy--and might just get good at it!--by committing to love other people that way. As a means of honoring these intentions, some choose to become members of this church.

Members (as distinguished from visitors and attenders) make promises to God and each other: to love and live for God, and to support and serve one another.

To help us reflect on these promises to be made, several times a year we host Welcome Brunches, a two week series in which prospective members and those simply wanting to know more about Valley get to know one another and gather around ideas central to Christianity and alive at Valley Presbyterian Church. We ask prospective members to select and attend a minimum of one brunch. 

Those who choose to covenant with us then attend a brunch with the Session to affirm their desire, and are received into membership during morning worship.
