Telling Our Stories
As we study “Bold and Untold Stories” and the “Faces of Our Faith” this summer in church and through our devotional, there will be an opportunity to gather over a light summer soup supper and uncover and discover some of our own stories through memoir writing. Memoir takes personal narrative to the next level and helps us learn or reveal something important about ourselves, others and/or our experiences.
Led by Lea Attanasio, join us on Tuesday evenings in July (July 10, 17, 24, 31) at Booth Library in Newtown at 6:00pm. We’ll sup together and then dive into a study of the memoir genre and have a go at writing some of our own.
Absolutely no writing experience necessary. All ages welcome. Come and bring the whole family and a friend or two. Materials will be provided.
